Born from a Love for the Mangroves
We started Kanika Mangrove because we believe Bhitarkanika National Park is one of India's best kept secrets. It is a rare wild place and we wanted to build a resort that was worthy of it. Our main goal was to create a place where people could come and see this amazing wild beauty for themselves. We wanted to build a resort that was both comfy and high-quality while fitting in with the natural world around it.
Our resort is not a large concrete hotel that fights with the landscape. We designed our building to blend in with the trees. We wanted to be a getaway for visitors who love nature and who want to see it without disturbing it. This is our main focus. With being so close to this special park, we take the responsibility seriously.
